On 3/2/2010 H. E. The Ambassador of The Republic of Iraq received head and members of the Iraqi University students embassy’s readiness to present all help and facilities to all Iraqis living in Iran and to solve their problems.

On 3/2/2010 The Ambassador of The Republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh received in his office Bishop Ramzi Karmo from the catholic Kildanian church in Tehran. H. E. The Ambassador expressed the embassy’s readiness to present all kinds of help to all Iraqi living in IRAQ despite their nationalities or sects.

On 2/2/2010 H. E. The Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh receive a delegation from the Iraqi political prisoners establishment headed by Mr. M. Kh. AL-Mosavi Head of the Economical and social Department in the said establishment. The delegation is visiting Tehran to have meetings with Iraqis living in Iran and present them all help they need.

On 23/1/2010 The T.V. News channel "Khabar" made an interview with H. E. The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh. In this interview topics concerning Iraqi-Iranian relations , the latest security , political and economical developments , and  the parliamentary elections in Iraq were discussed . concerning the American interference in the these elections , the Ambassador said that these news are not true and only the Iraqis can choose the  deputies they want.  

On 4/1/2010 H. E. the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid Al-Shaikh had an interview with the reporter of Al - Forat TV channel in which the Ambassador spoke about the Iraqi – Iranian relations and the services presented by the Embassy to Iraqis living in Iran.

On 4/1/2010 H. E. the Ambassador of the republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid Al-Shaikh met with Mr. Hassan Rasooli , Head of the department of the affairs of the Iranians living abroad. Both sides discussed the Iraq-Iranian relations and the Iraq elections which will be held in march 2010.

On 2/1/2010 H. E. the Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid Al-Shaikh receive the Ambassadors of Algeria and Qatar to the I.R.Iran. He welcomed  both and wished them success in their work. They expressed their countries wish to have the best relations with Iraq.

On  22/12/2009  H. E. The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh received in his office the Pakistani Ambassador in Iran and they discussed some issues concerning both countries and ways of promoting the relation between Iraq and Pakistan.

H. E. The Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh visit the Ambassador of India and Brazil in their offices and discussed with them the latest developments in Iraq and the relations between Iraq and India and between Iraq and Brazil.

On 19/12/2009  H . E . Mr. Barham salih , Prime Minister of Regional Government of Iraqi Kurdistan arrive to Tehran heading a high level delegation .He was received at the airport by H . E .The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh , a number of Iranian officials and group of representations of Iraqi political parties in Tehran . During this visit Mr. salih will discuss issues of mutual interest between Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan region.

On 14/12/2009  H . E . The Ambassador of Iraq  Mr. Mohammad  Majid  AL-Shaikh met with the Ambassador of Italy in Tehran . They discussed the latest developments in Iraq as well the Iraqi-Italian relations and ways of promoting them in all fields.

On 13/12/2009 H.E. The Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh met with the Turkish Ambassador to Tehran. Both sides discussed the latest developments in Iraq and the Iraqi –Turkish relations and ways of promoting them.

On  12/12/2009 H.E. Mr. Karim Wahid Hassan Iraqi Minister of Electricy arrived to Tehran heading a high level delegation and he was received in the airport by a number of Iranian official and members of the Iraqi Embassy in Tehran . H .E. The Minister had meetings with the Iranian Minister of Energy and a number of other Iranian officials.

On 11/12/2009  A delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports headed by Mr. Ehsan  AL-Balata arrived to Tehran  in respond of an invitation extended to them by Mr. Saeed lou , Head of Iranian Physical Training organization. The delegation will have meetings with Iranian sport officials to discuss cooperation between the two countries in the field of sports.

On  9/12/2009 H.E. The Ambassador of The Republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh had an interview with the Iranian Jam-e-Jam T.V channel in which he spoke about many topics concerning the Iraqi – Iranian relations and the latest developments in Iraq .

On 9/12/2009 H.E. The Ambassador of The Republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh met with the Ambassador of Australia . Both sides discussed ways of boosting the relations between the two countries and the latest developments in Iraq.

On 25/11/2009 H. E. The Ambassador Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh visit H. E. The Ambassador of Mexico and both sides discussed ways of developing the good relations between Iraq and Mexico and the latest developments in Iraq.

On 24/11/2009 H. E. The Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh met with the Ambassador of Switzerland to Tehran. In this meeting both sides discussed some issues of mutual interest and the situation in Iraq.

On 23/11/2009 H. E .The Ambassador Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh met with the British Ambassador to Iran. In this meeting both sides discussed matters of mutual interest and the latest developments in Iraq

On 18/11/2009 H. E. The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh received in his office The Iraqi delegation participating in the conference of Environment protection which is being held from 13 to 18/11/2009. The delegation gave a report about their meetings with the Iranian authorities and the result of these the services presented by the Embassy to the Iraqis living in Iran.

On 18/11/2009 H. E. The Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh received in his office the Ambassador of Kazakhistan to Tehran. Both sides spoke about the ways of developing the relations between the two countries especially in the Agricultural Field.

On 15/11/2009 H.E. The Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh received in his office a number of Karbala University professors. H. E. The Ambassador explained to Them The role it plays in developing the political and economical relation between Iran and Iraq and the services given by the Embassy to the Iraqis living in Iran.

On 15/11/2009 H. E. The ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh participated in the rotary meeting of the Arab Ambassadors in Tehran which was convened in the residence of the Saudi Ambassador. The latest developments in the world and the Arabic –Arabic relations were discussed in this meeting.

On 14/11/2009 H. E. the Ambassador of Iraq in Tehran Mr. Mohammad Majid Al-Shaikh met with H. E. The Ambassador of Kuwait. He discussed with him ways of developing the relations between the two countries. They also discussed the Arabic-Iranian relations and other issues concerning Iraq and Kuwait.

On 10/11/2009 H.E.The Ambassador of Iraq received in his office H.E.General Yassin AL-yasiri ,Head of Travel , Passport and Residence Department in Iraq and the delegation accompanying him . H.E.The Ambassador welcomed his guests and gave them a shert account about the services presented by the Iraqi Embassy to Iraqis living in Iran.

On 13/11/2009 the voice of the students Newspaper affiliated to the Iraqi. The logical center in Qum had an interview with H. E. the Ambassador of the republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid Al-Shaikh. In this interview H. E. the Ambassador explained the services presented by the Embassy to the Iraqi community in Iran and it's role in developing the relations between Iran and Iraq.

On Sunday 1/11/2009 H. E. The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh visit the "AL-Mustafa International University" in the holy city of Qum on the invitation extended to him by the Head of this university and its staff. Shaikh Ali Reza Arafi, Head of this University gave a detailed report about the university and its different departments and the number of the students studying in it at the present time. H. E. The Ambassador thanked him for this report and after visiting most of its departments and classes he left the university.

On 25/10/2009 H. E. The Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh receive in his office the Ambassador of Australia. Both sides discussed the latest political developments in Iraq as well the results of the visit of Mr. Ayad AL-Samarraie, head of the Iraqi parliament and Mr. Ammar AL-Hakim of Iran.

On 24/10/2009 H. E. Dr. A. J. Rashid, Minister of water resources in Iraq arrived to Tehran heading a delegation .H.E. The Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammad Majid AL-Shaikh received him and the delegation at the airport. Mr. Attar Zadeh the Iranian Deputy Minister of Energy was among the receivers  in the airport.

H. E. The Iraqi Minister met with Mr. Muttaki the Iranian Foreign Minister .He also met with Mr. Namjo The Iranian Ministry of Energy caretaker.

On Sunday 10/10/2009 H. E. Mr. M. Muttaki. The Iranian Foreign Minister received in his office his Eminence Seyyed Ammar AL-Hakim , Head of the supreme Islamic Iraqi council who was accompanied by the Iraqi Ambassador Mr. Mohammed Majid AL-Shaikh. Mr. Hakim thanked Mr. Muttaki for to good stances of Iran towards Iraq and its people. Mr. Hakim also met with Mr. S. Jaleeli, Head of the Iranian national security council who emphasized Iran's backing of Iraq's unity. As well , Mr. Hakim met with Mr. Ali Larejani , head of Iranian Parliament. Mr. .Hakim thanked him for the positive stance of Iran towards Iraq and the Iraqi people.

On Friday night 9/10/2009 a big ceremony was held in Tehran on the occasion of the 40th day of the passing away of his eminence sayyed Abdul-Aziz Al-Hakim. A great number of Iraqis living in iran participated in this ceremony. A number of T.V. channels covered the ceremony and had interviews with H. E. The Ambassador. 

On 7/10/2009 H.E. The Ambassador Mohammed Majid AL-Shaikh received in his office H. E. The Kuwait Ambassador to Tehran .Topic such as the latest developments in Iraq , the Arabic-Arabic relations and Iraqi Kuwait relations were discussed in the meeting.

On 7/10/2009 H.E. The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq met with H. E. Mir Fakhar, Head of The Consular Department in the Iranian Foreign Ministry .They discussed issues concerning the Iraqi living in Iran. Both sides emphasized the necessity to and promote the relations between Iraq and Iran in all political, economical and security fields.

On 4/10/2009 The reporter of the Iranian (Jamhuri Islami) newspaper had an interview with H. E. The Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Mohammed Majid AL-Shaikh in which many issues were discussed such as  The results of the visit of the Head of the Iraqi parliament to Iran and its positive effects , the most important developments in Iraq and the issue of closing down the camp of Ashraf.

On 3/10/2009 H.E. The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq Mr.  Mohammed Majid Al-Shaikh visited I.R.I news Agency (Irna). His Excellency the Ambassador was interviewed by the reporter of the Agency .The interview touched many subjects concerning the two friendly countries Iraq and Iran. In this interview the results of the official visited Mr. Ayad Al-Samarraie , Head of the Iraqi parliament to Iran and its effects on the relations between the two countries.
